Bram and the Guv’nor synopsis

Bram Stoker is the successful Business Manager of the Lyceum Theatre, the company headed by leading Shakespearean actors Sir Henry Irving and Ellen Terry.

But how will Irving and Terry react to Stoker’s Dracula?

Bram and the Guv’nor is a play by Jefny Ashcroft, the third and final production in the Arts Council funded Arts-friendly Archives project, to be performed at at Stratford upon Avon Archives, Shakespeare Birthplace Trust in May 2017.

The play is inspired by material in the Bram Stoker Collection, owned by the Royal Shakespeare Company and held at Stratford upon Avon Archives. Items from the Stoker Collection were exhibited to accompany the play.
